Match Holder - Turquoise

This vessel is made as a small pot to hold long matches and has a strike pad on the base. As with most of my pieces it has other uses. It would also serve well as a bud vase on the mantlepiece for a few stems of flowers. 
 
The match pot is made from Scandi Grey stoneware clay and glazed with a luscious turqouise glaze.
 
The pot has a diameter of  5.5cm and the height is 9cm.
 
All EpsomPots are stoneware fired, fully vitrified making them watertight and food safe. Handwashing recommended.
